Description The RS232-Wiegand Interface Multiformat Converter is designed for convenient and continuous duty.  The converter provides data format translations of numerous reader technology outputs into almost any other standard or proprietary format. More than 100 format translations are supported and field selectable using dip switches. It is ideal for connecting dissimilar card, tag, badge, and biometric readers to previously incompatible controllers. Supports Weigand, Serial ASCII, F2F, and Clock and Data conversions. Typical uses include converting bar-code serial ASCII data to Wiegand and adapting uncommon formats to common formats. Custom formatting is also available.
