At the heart of the bike is the Ananda® central motor, which develops a maximum power of 780W and a torque of up to 130 Nm. This level of power in two-wheeled vehicles was previously only available to motorcycles. That’s why you’ll conquer any hill with astonishing ease. Powered by Progress: The power used by the electric assist system is drawn from a 48V LG® battery. The interconnected intelligent motor and battery systems ensure you enjoy your ride for as long as possible. The battery features a SMART BMS system that constantly monitors its performance and records charging cycles. Intuitive to use. The system is operated via a control panel with a color display. It is equipped with a dusk sensor that automatically adjusts the screen’s backlight to the conditions you’re traveling in. Its user-friendly interface allows for intuitive navigation between individual functions and settings. Designed with passion: Advanced technology requires a stylish design, but ergonomics and safety are key. The new frame concept gives the bike a premium look – the integrated battery is almost invisible, and the motor discreetly reveals its hidden potential. To ensure the ride experience isn’t compromised, we paid close attention to the geometry. Optimal weight distribution was achieved by positioning the motor at a precise angle and placing the battery at the bottom of the frame. The RX 500 is a machine for heavy-duty use, so we equipped it with a SunTour XCR-AIR LOR air suspension fork and large wheels with wide Schwalbe® Nobby Nic 29 x 2.6 tires for good traction in challenging conditions. A powerful central motor requires a robust derailleur – a 10-speed SHIMANO® DEORE with Shadow system handles the chain shifting.
